IQNA – The head of Iranian Hajj pilgrims returned to Iran after completing the Hajj operations and transporting most of the pilgrims to the country.

Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Abdol Fattah Navab

Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Abdol Fattah Navab arrived in Iran this morning via Mashhad Airport.

He said upon arrival that after the Israeli regime’s attack on the country, many ways were envisaged for Iranian Hajj pilgrims to return, but ultimately it was decided to transport the pilgrims to Iran via the Iraqi border.

Meanwhile, as the end of the Hajj 2025 return operation approaches, an official said Iranian pilgrims remaining in Saudi Arabia will enter the country through the Mashhad International Airport.

Director General of Khorasan Razavi Airports Mahmoud Amani Bani said the flights will be operated directly by the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines (Homa).

Mashhad Airport is fully prepared to provide services to pilgrims and necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate their return, he stated.
