According to Suffolk Police, the incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Monday, July 7, when a man on a bicycle approached a mosque located on Campus Road. He is alleged to have shouted abusive language at individuals present at the site.
The incident is being treated as a racially or religiously aggravated public order offence, East Anglian Daily Times reported on Friday.
The suspect is described as wearing a blue hoodie with white drawstrings, possibly bearing a Gant logo on the chest. He was also said to be dressed in dark shorts and a dark baseball cap.

The man was riding a white and black bicycle and was seen cycling between Burton End and Camps Road around the time of the incident.
Police are urging anyone who may recognise the individual or has relevant information to come forward. Authorities are asking members of the public to contact Suffolk Police and reference crime number 37/37739/25.
