The 53 Quran memorizers earned this honor after completing the memorization of the entire Holy Quran in prestigious Quranic schools and centers in the region, the news website newturkpost.com reported.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, which gave the hall a spiritual atmosphere. Afterwards, Ismail Ozen, the Mufti of Esnler, expressed his satisfaction with this achievement and appreciated the efforts of the memorizers, their families, and the teachers who participated in this blessed journey.

He emphasized that memorizing the Quran is not the end of the road, but rather the beginning of a great responsibility, and called on the memorizers to be good role models in their society and strive to spread Quranic values ​​in their daily lives.

Ozen also explained that the Holy Quran memorization program is one of the most important investments in the future, as it helps to raise a generation that adheres to ethics and values ​​and forms the main pillar of a cohesive society full of faith and knowledge.

He said the holding of such ceremonies demonstrates the government’s commitment to supporting moderate religious education and encouraging young people to connect with the Quran.

The ceremony was not limited to the awarding of certificates at the end of the course, but also included a special celebration of the winners of the Holy Quran recitation competitions that had been held throughout the year. The winners received symbolic prizes and certificates of appreciation in the presence of their families and teachers, which doubled their joy and gave them further motivation to continue developing their abilities in Quranic sciences.

The event was held as part of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Religious Affairs Directorate's series of activities to support Quran education throughout Turkey.
