In a message, Ayatollah Alireza Aarafi said news of the cruel and criminal massacre of the oppressed people of Sudan has wounded the heart of every free person.
His message is as follows:
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
‘Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will all return.’
In the days when the Islamic Ummah needs unity, empathy, and a return to human and divine principles, the shocking news of the cruel and criminal massacre of the oppressed people of Sudan has wounded the heart of every free person.
This bloody tragedy, which took place with the direct intervention and support of international Zionism and global arrogance, as well as with the unfortunate cooperation of some Arab governments in the Persian Gulf region, is a clear example of the sinister projects of the enemies of the Islamic Ummah to sow division, plunder the resources of nations, and weaken the Islamic awakening movement.
The (Iranian) seminaries and Islamic scholars, while firmly condemning this horrific crime, call on the Muslim nations and elites of the Islamic world not to remain silent in the face of such tragedies and to defend the ideals of freedom, dignity, and justice in Islamic countries by exposing the dirty hands of the arrogant powers and their regional mercenaries.
Obviously, history will never forgive betrayal and silence in the face of oppression, and the pure blood of the oppressed people of Sudan, like the blood of the martyrs of Gaza, Yemen, and Palestine, will bear the fruits of awakening and resistance throughout the Islamic world.
International organizations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and human rights institutions are also expected to adopt a clear and effective stance against this human tragedy, instead of remaining silent and shameful inaction.

Finally, while expressing our sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families and the oppressed people of Sudan, we ask God Almighty to grant them patience, help, and victory, and to protect the Islamic Ummah from the evil of the seditions and hegemony of the arrogant.”
