IQNA – The Askari Shrine in Samarra, Iraq, welcomed a Quranic delegation from Lebanon this week.

A Quranic delegation from Lebanon visited the Askari Shrine in Samarra, Iraq, in early November 2025.

 

The delegation from the Ajyal Al-Nour Quran Memorization Society of Lebanon included 30 visitors, including 20 male and female Quran memorizers, Karbala Al-Aan news agency reported.

They performed pilgrimage and renewed their covenant with the Holy Quran and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in a spiritual atmosphere full of loyalty and love for Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).

The programs of the visit included a religious speech by religious scholar Sheikh Odeh al-Aqili.

Also, the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine honored the male and female memorizers in appreciation of their efforts in serving the Holy Quran.
