Ayatollah Sistani in Good Health: Source
The source on Monday denied rumors that have been circulating about the deterioration of the senior cleric’s health, Baghdad al-Youm reported.
The source said Ayatollah Sistani had been suffering from the flu in recent days and, thank God, has fully recovered.
The source added that after ensuring that his health is stable, the cleric’s office is considering the resumption of visits to the office in the next 48 hours.
The source emphasized reports that he has a serious illness or something similar are absolutely untrue, and called on citizens not to be influenced by rumors and fake news that are being spread with the aim of causing anxiety among believers.
