Ayatollah Khamenei Offers Condolences to Iraq’s Top Shia Cleric
According to the information website of the Office for the Preservation and Publication of the Works of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader issued a message to Ayatollah Sistani.
“I offer my condolences to my honorable brother (Ayatollah Sistani) on the passing of his brother, and I ask Allah Almighty to forgive him and reunite him with his pure ancestors, peace be upon them,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in the message.
Ayatollah Seyed Hadi Sistani passed away on Friday.
He was among top scholars of the Islamic seminary who spent many years of his life in spreading Islamic teachings and serving the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
