17th Int’l Press Exhibition to Open Today
-- The 17th International Press Exhibition will be inaugurated today, October 25, in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla (prayer hall).
President Mahmud Ahmadinejad will officiate the opening ceremony.
Over 2400 newspapers, journals, and news agencies from across the country will present their works at the exhibition, which will run until Monday, November 1.
Representatives of 175 media from 55 countries will also be present at the exhibit.
Each of the ten days of the exhibition have been given a name: media and the culture of intensified effort and labor; media, economic amendment and making subsidies purposeful, media and their mission; media and role of mosques in Islamic society; media, the soft war and Islamic resistance; media and the system of Ummah and Imamamt; and media, Islamic world and saving Palestine.
Holding specialized forums, as festivals are among the programs on the sidelines of the 17th exhibition.
It will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day until November 1.
