Quran Competition Planned in Canada’s Alberta

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) will organize its 20th Quran competition tomorrow.

The contest will be held in person and the participants compete in recitation and memorization of the Quran, according to MAC’s website.

Those born between 2004 and 2018 are eligible to take part in the Quranic event’s youths section.

Every contender can compete in one category of the competition only.

The Muslim Association of Canada, according to its website, is a Canadian charitable organization and a grassroots social movement.

It focuses on serving Canadians by educating and motivating Muslims in Canada to put their faith into action for the benefit of everyone.

MAC’s central office in in Edmonton, Alberta, which includes a mosque, an Islamic school and two youths centers.

The association has offices in 13 cities of the country.
