Muslim Capitol Day Planned in Pennsylvania

WASHINGTON, DC (IQNA) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is going to join Emgage Pennsylvania in hosting Muslim Capitol Day at the state capitol in Harrisburg on October 18. 

The Pennsylvania chapter of CAIR announced this on Friday.

During Muslim Capitol Day, Pennsylvania Muslims will have the opportunity to meet with lawmakers to lobby and advocate for issues important to the Muslim community.

Tickets are free but registration is required.

CAIR is the United States’ largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization.

Its mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
