Armies of Wisdom and Ignorance

TEHRAN (IQNA) – In order to better know sins, a famous Hadith in which members of the armies of wisdom and ignorance have been enumerated can be a very good guide.

According to this Hadith Sama’a ibn Mihran says a number of people were with Imam Sadiq (AS) when the topic of wisdom and ignorance came up.

Imam Sadiq (AS) said: Know the intellect and its army and also know ignorance and its army so that you will be guided.

Sama’a says Imam Sadiq (AS) first defined the intellect and ignorance and then enumerated 75 characteristics for the army of the intellect and 75 for the army of ignorance.

Imam Sadiq (AS) added that divine prophets, men of God and every true believer are equipped with the army of the intellect.
