Speaking to IQNA after the martyrdom of the Iranian president and his entourage in a helicopter crash on Sunday, Hassan Moslemi Naeini highlighted Ayatollah Raisi’s humbleness and his passion for serving people.
He said the president maintained very good relations with his colleagues and with the people of the country.
Ayatollah Raisi tirelessly continued to strive for serving the people of the Islamic Iran and ultimately God granted him the great blessing of martyrdom, he stated.
Moslemi Naeini also referred to how the president viewed the ACECR, saying Ayatollah Raisi considered it a very important institution in the country and would always remind members of the ACECR of their significant activities and the need to maintain ties with different universities and academic centers.
The president would also highlight the cultural and arts activities of the ACECR, he noted.
Moslemi Naeini went on to say that, just as Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei underlined on Sunday, the path of service that Ayatollah Raisi treaded will continue after the martyrdom of the president and there will be no disruptions in the country’s affairs.
President Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Friday prayer leader of Tabriz and the governor of East Azarbaijan were among those martyred in the helicopter incident on Sunday.
