IQNA – Iran's late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was a brave and devoted supporter of Palestine, a Lebanese analyst said.

Iman Mustafa in an article elaborated on different aspects of Martyr Amir-Abdollahian’s character as a senior diplomat. 

The Iranian foreign minister, President Ebrahim Raisi, and several others were martyred in a helicopter crash northwest of Iran on May 19.

Following are excerpts from the Lebanese analyst’s article:

The martyred foreign minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, was a Mujahid (one who strives on the path of God) and a diplomat who would always help Palestine.

According to former Lebanese foreign minister Adnan Mansour, Ami-Abdollahian was a top diplomat not only for Iran but for the entire region as he defended the rights of all regional nations.

Mansour says that the Iranian foreign minister was very active and energetic, prudent, and skillful and had a high sense of responsibility.

Wherever he was, Amir-Abdollahian would make efforts in support of Palestine and would diligently monitor the situation of the resistance in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Syria and elsewhere, he says.

Mansour notes that Lebanon has a special place in the hearts of the late Iranian foreign minister, who stood by the Lebanese nation and resistance in their struggle against the Zionist enemy.

Mansour goes on to say that the efforts of President Raisi and Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian significantly contributed to the strengthening of the resistance front and unity among resistance groups.
