Iranian Noor Convoy Holds Quranic Circle in Medina

IQNA – The fifth Quranic circle attended by members of the Iranian Quranic convoy, known as the Noor (light) convoy, was held in the holy city of Medina.

 It was organized at the Hayat al-Huda Center in the city on Wednesday night. 

Renowned qaris Mehdi Adeli and Masoud Movahedirad performed recitations of the Quran at the event.

Adeli recited Verses 64-69 of Surah An-Nisa and Movahedirad recited Verses 101-108 of Surah Al-Anbiya.

The program also included a Tawasheeh (religious singing) performance by the Al-Ibad Group.

Every year millions of Muslims from around the world gather in the Mecca for the annual Hajj.

Iran also sends pilgrims as well as a groups of Quran activists, known as the Noor Hajj Delegation.

The members of the delegation hold Quranic programs, including Quran recitation session for the pilgrims in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
