The redevelopment proposal includes constructing a two-storey building featuring a community hall, prayer halls, and classrooms.
The applicant stated that the current building is "no longer fit for purpose" and that the new development would provide the congregation with "improved facilities."
The plans also include a car park on Duke Street, with additional parking at the back of the mosque, creating a total of 16 spaces.
