UK: Plans to Rebuild West Bromwich Mosque Set for Approval
The redevelopment proposal includes constructing a two-storey building featuring a community hall, prayer halls, and classrooms.
The applicant stated that the current building is "no longer fit for purpose" and that the new development would provide the congregation with "improved facilities."
The plans also include a car park on Duke Street, with additional parking at the back of the mosque, creating a total of 16 spaces.

Sandwell council planning officer Carl Mercer said the proposal is "compliant with relevant policies" and that there are "no material considerations that would justify refusal."
A condition has been added to the recommendation, limiting the building's capacity by not allowing prayer at the same time as community events.
