Registration for Imam Ali Dar-ol-Quran Center’s Quran Contest Slated for Oct. 19

IQNA – Registration for the 18th edition of a Quran competition organized by Iran’s Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center will start on Saturday, October 19.

The secretariat of the competition said those willing to partake in the Quranic event can sign up by November 8. 

They are required to refer to the website www.dqimamali.com, it said, stressing that the registration deadline will not be extended.

Quran recitation, memorization (at different levels), Tarteel, Quranic concepts and Quran translation are the categories of this year’s competition.

It will be held virtually for two age groups of under 18 and 18 and older, in two sections for men and women, the center said.

The Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center annually organizes the contest to promote learning the Quran and identify Quranic talents.  

Last year, Quran memorizers and reciters from 12 countries took part in the competition.
