Speaking to IQNA, Baqer Darwish, the head of the Bahrain Forum for Human Rights (BFHR), said the fighters of Islamic resistance are facing a difficult stage but the can achieve victory by strengthening their unity and solidarity.
He referred to the recent martyrdom of a number of resistance figures and said the resistance will nonetheless remain vigilant and powerful.
The foundation of resistance is commitment to values and principles, he stated.
Darwish said the Zionist regime has waged a war against Lebanon, carrying brutal attacks and massacres to break the morale of the resistance fighters but that will not happen.
Asked about the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh and how it would affect the future of resistance, he said the assassinations of the two great figures were very upsetting, however, they have only strengthened the resolve of resistance fighters.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Darwish referred to the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation carried out by the Gaza Strip resistance fighters on October 7, 2023, and said it derailed the attempts by some regional countries to pursue normalization of ties with the Zionist regime.
