230 Male, Female Quran Memorizers Recite Whole Quran in West Bank City

IQNA – A Quran recitation session was held in the West Bank city of Tulkarm attended by 230 male and female Quran memorizers.

The city’s Al-Rawdha Mosque hosted the program, according to the Awqaf Ministry of Palestine.

It was organized by the Tulkarm Awqaf Department with the participation of men and women of different age groups.

They performed a Khatm Quran (recitation of the Holy Book from the beginning to the end) in one day.

Addressing the Quranic event, Hissam Abu al-Rab, the Palestinian deputy Awqaf minister, hailed the enthusiastic presence of the people of the city in the program.

He also pledged the ministry’s continued support for memorizers of the Holy Quran.

Also, Sheikh Ibrahim Wasif, the director of the Tulkarm Awqaf Department, said that the 230 memorizers who recited the Quran at the program had been selected after a series of exams.
