In a message posted by the Leader’s office on social media on Wednesday, marking Christmas, Ayatollah Khamenei said, “If Jesus (AS) were among us today, he wouldn’t have hesitated event a moment to fight the leaders of oppression an global arrogance.
“Nor would he (Jesus) have tolerated the hunger and displacement of billions of people pushed by hegemonic powers into war, corruption and violence.”
Earlier on Wednesday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said honoring the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ is regarded as a chance to recall divine commandments and teachings by all prophets, with the aim of attaining justice, peace, and freedom.
