Saudi Arabia Distributes Over 10,000 Quran Copies at Local Festival

IQNA – The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has announced the distribution of more than 10,000 copies of the Quran during the 9th Citrus Festival held in Al-Hariq Province.

 

According to Shahd Now news website, the ministry's Riyadh office provided Qurans in various sizes and versions, all published by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Medina.

The distribution took place at the ministry's booth throughout the festival, which began on the first day of the Islamic month of Rajab (1446 AH) and concluded last Friday.

The Citrus Festival featured wide participation from government and civil organizations, as well as local farmers showcasing their agricultural products.

The ministry’s booth displayed an array of Qurans and their translations in multiple languages. In addition to the Qurans, simplified commentaries were made available to visitors.

Al-Hariq Province, situated in Wadi Naam within the Jabal Tuwaiq region of southern Najd, is known for its rich agricultural heritage.
