Time for Reconstruction in Gaza: Hamas
“We are now in a new phase focused on reconstruction, sympathizing with the survivors, eliminating the effects of aggression, and rebuilding Gaza,” Khalil al-Hayya said on Tuesday, two days after a ceasefire deal between Hamas and the Israeli regime came into effect following nearly 16 months of Israeli genocidal war.
“We declare to the whole world that the people of Gaza are a free people. They build rather than destroy, and they will rebuild what the occupiers have destroyed,” he added, according to Wafa news agency.
“Just as you stood firm in battle, you will move forward with strength and unwavering determination after the war,” the resistance figure said, addressing the people of the Gaza Strip.
Elsewhere in his remarks, al-Hayya hailed the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, which was carried out by Gaza resistance forces against the Zionist regime on October 7, 2023, and said that it dealt a heavy blow to the enemy and that it will remain in history.
