According to the news outlet "alkhaleej.ae," Al-Azhari explained that the initiative includes two types of schools in Egypt. The first type consists of physical ones established in specific locations such as mosques.
The second type comprises virtual centers that operate through modern communication tools to reach a broader audience.
The initiative aims to discover talents, train scholars and innovators, combat religious extremism, and create a cohesive and educated society, he said.

Al-Azhari praised the spirit of cooperation among all institutions to achieve the ambitious goals of this initiative. He emphasized, "This initiative is a pivotal step towards building generations on sound educational and religious foundations."
The new centers will rely on modern and advanced principles to teach Quran memorization, reading, and writing, eradicate illiteracy, and discover talents, he said.
