In this petition addressed to the government of Portugal and the United Nations, the signatories condemned the genocide by the occupying Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and expressed their opposition to the US proposal to relocate the residents of Gaza.

The signatories, including political activists, academic figures, and journalists, stressed the need for the Lisbon government and the European Union to adopt a clear stance on the issue of Palestine.

They underlined the Palestinian nation’s right to determine their fate and rejected any plan on forcibly relocating them from Gaza, Arabi21 reported.

They condemned Trump’s proposal for Washington to take control of the Gaza Strip, displace Palestinians, and turn Gaza into a tourist area.

They viewed the US president’s statements as an attempt to erase the Palestinian presence in the Gaza Strip and stressed the need for a decisive international stance to prevent the implementation of such policies and to support Palestine.
