Milan Rally Condemns Israeli Crimes in Gaza

IQNA – Thousands of people took to the streets in Italy’s Milan to protest the continuation of Israeli atrocities in Gaza.

Condemning the Israeli regime’s crimes in the Palestinian enclave, the demonstrators called for an end to the genocide in Gaza, Arabi21 reported. 

Some 15,000 Italians took part in the rally, organized with the support of civil society activists and unions, according to the report.

They carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of Palestine.

They demanded an end to the Gaza genocide and an immediate and permanent ceasefire there.

There were sporadic clashes during the rally, with Italian media reporting that 7 protesters were arrested.

On Saturday, the Swedish capital of Stockholm was also the scene of a rally held to condemn the Israeli crimes against Palestinian women and children in Gaza.

There were similar demonstrations   in London and in Austria’s capital of Vienna.
