The funeral procession for Nasrallah, and another senior Hezbollah official Sayed Hashem Safieddine, is set to take place on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. local time.
According to Al-Maseerah, official delegations from Yemen, Iraq, Tunisia, Iran, Mauritania and Turkey have already arrived in Lebanon for the event.
The committee set up to organize the funeral said in a statement on Friday that freedom seekers from around the world have begun their journey to Beirut, and the number of participants is such that the streets will not be able to accommodate them all in a single day.
As the day of funeral approaches, Iraqi sources report that flights from Baghdad to Beirut are fully booked, and airlines are increasing the number of flights.
The main part of the funeral procession will take place in a stadium and Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem will address the event.

Additionally, all the squares in Beirut have been equipped with large monitors for people to follow the ceremony and listen to Sheikh Qassem’s speech.
Nasrallah was martyred on September 27, 2024, in an Israeli airstrike that used American-made bunker buster bombs. Safieddine too was killed in an Israeli attack in October.
