Saudi Arabia Distributes 1.2 Million Copies of Quran in 79 Languages Worldwide

IQNA – Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has authorized the distribution of 1.2 million copies of the Quran, along with interpretations in 79 languages, to Islamic and cultural centers, as well as religious offices at Saudi embassies across the globe.

The initiative, part of King Salman’s Quran gifting program, is being executed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the distribution will span 45 countries during the holy month of Ramadan, a period of heightened religious significance for Muslims worldwide. 

Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, described the distributed copies as high-quality editions, produced to reflect the Saudi Arabia's intention to disseminate Quranic teachings.

He emphasized that the initiative aims to ensure Muslims around the world, especially during Ramadan, have access to these resources.
