IQNA – Top Iranian officials have extended congratulations to Muslim nations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, urging unity among Islamic countries.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian extended his well wishes, describing Eid al-Fitr as a manifestation of unity and the strengthening of religious and social ties among Muslims. "Eid al-Fitr is a reflection of the unity and consolidation of religious and social bonds among Muslims and a time when sincere prayers of the holy month of Ramadan come to fruition," Pezeshkian stated.

He expressed hope that the blessings of Eid would lead to greater solidarity among Muslim nations, the establishment of peace and stability in Islamic countries, and the further expansion of relations in all fields.

Similarly, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called for greater empathy and cooperation among Muslim nations. "I extend my sincerest congratulations to the noble people of Iran as well as Muslim governments and nations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. In Iran, the holy month of Ramadan – the spring of the Quran – has coincided with Nowruz and the spring of nature this year," Araghchi stated.

He also expressed prayers for the innocent men, women, and children in Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen who have endured attacks by the Israeli regime and the US during the month of Ramadan. "On this auspicious day, I pray to Almighty God for unity and empathy among Muslim nations more than ever before," the Iranian foreign minister noted.
