According to local health authorities, Gaza City and northern regions have seen the highest number of casualties, accounting for more than half of the fatalities. However, strikes were also reported in the south, including Khan Younis and Rafah.

In one of the deadliest incidents on Friday, a family of 10 was reportedly killed in an airstrike targeting a home in Khan Younis.

In as-Saftawi, a neighborhood in northern Gaza, four people, including two children, lost their lives in another Israeli air assault.

Despite the ongoing war, members of the Christian community in Gaza gathered quietly in the lead-up to Easter, continuing religious observances under extremely difficult conditions.

In the occupied West Bank, tensions flared on Friday in the town of Biddya, located in the Salfit governorate, where Israeli forces and settlers attacked local Palestinians. The Palestine Red Crescent confirmed that at least one person was injured in the incident.

Further north, reports from local sources said dozens of settlers, under military protection, entered Jabal al-Urma in Beita, a hill near Nablus, sparking concern among residents.

Israel’s latest onslaught on Gaza, which began in October 2023, has resulted in extensive civilian casualties and large-scale destruction. The Gaza Health Ministry states that at least 51,157 Palestinians have been killed and over 116,700 wounded since the beginning of the war.

Although a temporary ceasefire was agreed upon in January, the brutal war resumed on March 18 following an Israeli breach of the truce. Since then, 1,783 Palestinians have been reported killed amid continued airstrikes.
