IQNA – Iran’s Quranic community attended Quranic gatherings dubbed “Toward Victory” in Tehran and other cities to honor the memory of the martyrs of the recent war.

Iran’s Quranic community attended Quranic gatherings dubbed “Toward Victory” in Tehran and other cities on July 10, 2025, to honor the memory of the martyrs of the recent war.

The participants renewed their pledge of allegiance to the ideals of the martyred commanders and other martyrs of the 12-day war imposed by the Israeli regime.

Since the early days of the Zionist regime’s attack on the country that began on June 23, the Quranic community has put numerous measures on the agenda to increase the spirit of power and solidarity of the people, as well as to support the Iranian armed forces.

Among these measures is the holding of 114 Quran recitations gatherings today, July 9, in 114 locations across the country.

This Quranic gathering in Tehran was organized in the morning with the participation of Quranic affairs managers, veteran Quran activists, experts, reciters, memorizers, and a group of instructors and Quran students from popular Quranic institutions, as well as family members of the martyrs of the 12-Day War, including the family of Martyr General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the former Commander of the Aerospace Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

At the beginning of the ceremony, which was conducted by Mehdi Ghorbanali, Seyed Mohammad Hosseinipour, an internationally acclaimed qari, recited verses from the Holy Quran.

Next, Mohammad Reza Pourzargari, another eminent qari, recited the fourteenth prayer of Sahifa Sajjadiyeh, and then there was a performance by the Muhammad Rasulullah (PBUH) Tawasheeh Group.

A recitation by prominent qari Ahmad Abolqassemi was another part of the program.

The attendees of this Quranic gathering honored the memory of the martyrs of the imposed war with the slogan ‘Hayhat min al-Dhalah’ (never to humiliation!).

Next, Abbas Salimi, an Iranian Quranic veteran, gave a short speech and said Quranic media, in addition to addressing various aspects of the imposed war, should explain the Quranic life and achievements of the righteous generals such as Hossein Salami, Mohammad Bagheri, and Amir Ali Hajizadeh.

He said General Hajizadeh transformed Quranic affairs in the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Aerospace Force, so that this force currently has tens of thousands of young Quran activists.

He also highlighted the Quranic activities of General Hossein Salami, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, who was himself a memorizer of the entire Holy Quran, and General Bagheri.

Salimi concluded by urging the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance to introduce and register the names of these proud commanders as servants of the Quran.

Iranian Quranic Community Renews Allegiance to Martyred Commanders’ Path

At the end of today’s Quranic gathering in Tehran, a statement by the Iranian Quranic community was read out in which the Israeli aggression on Iran was strongly condemned.

The statement also underlined that the main distinction and difference between the Islamic Republic of Iran and other governments in the world is that the roadmap of the Islamic Republic is the Holy Quran.

“Acting on this strategic book, which is the source of analysis, the focus of hope, and the source of courage for believers, creates wonders, especially when material calculations are unable to respond.”
