According to a report by Al-Mobtada, the ministry said the competition is being held through its General Department of Quranic Affairs and is part of its broader programming for Quran-focused initiatives.
The ministry stated that the event “aims to support those dedicated to the Quran and encourage participation in Quranic activities through digital platforms.”
Participation is limited to individuals who regularly attend Egypt-based online Quran learning sessions. Candidates must also pass preliminary assessments in memorization and recitation to be eligible.
The stated goals of the competition include encouraging youth and adolescents to engage with the Quran, creating a safe and supportive online educational environment, and identifying standout individuals in Quran memorization and recitation.
