IQNA – The martyrdom of former Hezbollah leader Sayed Hassan Nasrallah does not mean a disruption in the leadership position and weakening of the resistance front, Bahrain’s top Shia cleric said.

Bahrain’s top Shia cleric Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim

The resistance and jihad will continue until the full realization of the rights of Muslims and the destruction of falsehood and the rule of divine justice on earth, Ayatollah Sehikh Isa Qassim stated.

On the occasion of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the martyr of the resistance, the Lebanese magazine ‘Iqtidar’ conducted an interview with Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.

In the first part of the interview, he stated that Martyr Nasrallah adhered to the original Islamic faith in all areas of life. “Therefore, he wanted nothing more than resistance against falsehood, injustice, corruption and ruin.”

The second and final part of it is as follows:

Regarding the transformation of Nasrallah’s experiences into an intellectual and educational approach for the present generation, Sheikh Qassim said that considering that the experience of Nasrallah was real and his project was to revive true Islam, then its acceptance as a method by the Ummah is possible.

“Just as the people of falsehood do not spare any means and efforts to achieve their falsehood, the people of truth also make every effort to achieve truth and strengthen its front, and God Almighty has promised the believers that if they help God and fight according to His command and in accordance with the laws of Sharia, they will never be defeated.”

As for the impact of the loss of Nasrallah on the Islamic Ummah, the Bahraini cleric said, “His loss should be compared to a void that is felt by all, worries his relatives, and is desired by the enemy, but this does not mean that the resistance is paralyzed, the Ummah retreats, or disrupts the position of leadership.

“The religion of this Ummah is resistant to all limitations, the awakening of the Ummah is strong and widespread, its faith in the religion of Islam is very great, its Mujahideen are principled, and nothing can stop them from supporting their religion. Their thinking is profound and their experience is great, nothing is dearer to them than their religion, and their cohesion is steel, their unity is unbreakable, and their determination is firm.”

Regarding the ways to benefit from the profound educational, moral and spiritual dimension of the personality of Nasrallah, especially after his martyrdom, Ayatollah Qassim stated, “Martyr Nasrallah left behind a rich treasure trove of pure spiritual benefits and a source of abundant moral gifts. He had a personality that could only be created with the sublime divine gifts and Islamic education and its divine approach, which no wise and sublime education can match.

“In order for the brilliant spiritual, moral and spiritual dimension to spread among the Ummah, including the youth and adolescents, the explanation and dissemination of the great treasures of this great martyr and his theoretical and practical lessons play a significant role, and in this regard, seminars and institutions that serve this purpose play a role.”

Asked about the symbolic image of Nasrallah that should be instilled in the minds of people, Ayatollah Qassim said, “He was a great symbol of a completely Islamic personality and a righteous role model among the Ummah. Due to his faith, wisdom, struggle, successful educational role, influential missionary role, and decisive stance in preserving Islam and guiding the people, he can live a spiritual life with the same power and influence after martyrdom.”

He added, “The Ummah should keep in mind this great martyr, prominent scholar, and righteous role model in terms of faith, struggle, sacrifice, and forgiveness in the way of God, who has a heart full of love for the Creator and His creatures.”

About the impact of Nasrallah’s martyrdom on the resistance project and the path of pure Muhammadan Islam and confronting the enemies, the Bahraini Shia leader stated, “What the resistance faced from rebellious Zionism and distorted Judaism with the unjust and dirty support of America and Europe and their mercenaries was a terrible blow that aimed to destroy the existence of the resistance, weaken the Ummah and crush its ideals. This action also targeted a personality that shook the tyranny of the West and its companions and was a serious threat to their continued arrogance and tyranny, namely the personality of a unique leader such as Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, may God be pleased with him, and the elite and capable commanders accompanying him.

“This blow was very painful, extremely damaging and a great loss and disrupted the resistance’s plans and closed the doors to important opportunities. But the path of resistance will not be closed, its heroes and leaders will continue on their path, their firm resolve will not weaken, and the participation of the Ummah will continue through the hands of sincere and loyal individuals.”

Ayatollah Qassim emphasized that resistance and jihad will continue until the rights of Muslims are realized, falsehood is destroyed, and divine justice reigns on earth.
