IQNA – A Quran memorization competition for school students began in Zliten, Libya, on Tuesday, November 11.

A Quran memorization competition for school students began in Zliten, Libya, on November 11, 2025.

 

It has been organized under the supervision of the School Activities Department of the Libyan Ministry of Education in the city of Zliten.

“The Book of God unites us” is the motto of the contest, held in line with the special school activity plan for the 2025-2026 academic year.

It has been attended by 60 students, Ain Libya website reported.

Forty of the participants competed in the field of Quran memorization and 20 in the category of giving sermons.

The goals of the competition include institutionalizing Quranic values ​​among the young generation and strengthening the spirit of competition in memorizing and reciting the Quran.

A total of 120 Quran memorizers from more than 70 countries participated in the contest.
