
It was launched with the aim of strengthening cultural diplomacy and introducing the depth and diversity of Iranian art to the Turkish people, according to the public relations department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO).
The cultural event was opened on November 4 with the efforts of the Iranian Cultural Center in Turkey and in cooperation with the Consulate General of Iran in Trabzon and the Municipality of Trabzon in one of the most important cultural centers of this city, called the “Ehsan Humamzadeh Cultural Center”.
The opening ceremony was widely welcomed by local officials and a large crowd of people interested in Iranian culture and art.
At the opening ceremony, Ahmed Metin Genç, Mayor of Trabzon; Naser Mohabbati, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Trabzon; Adnan Taç, Head of the Trabzon Art House; Erkut Chalabi, head of the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, several mayors of the Trabzon city regions, and a group of cultural activists, writers, and artists were present.
Focusing on various topics, this exhibition presented a comprehensive picture of the cultural, artistic, social, and political dimensions of contemporary Iranian art.
