Way for Getting Close to God Is Open to All

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Because the level of access to wealth, welfare and facilities is not the same for different people, some think that getting close to God is also a special privilege reserved for certain people.

But that is not the case, according to religious teachings, as all human beings have access to the path to getting closer to God.

Everyone can take this path, which leads to perfection and salvation, and can receive blessings and rewards in accordance with his or her capabilities and potentials.

We read in an Islamic supplication: “O God! You have given the weak and the strong the same path for getting close to you.”

So anyone will receive award and blessings proportionate to the potentials and blessings that he or she has.

If someone who has 100 dollars gives 10 dollars in charity on the path of God, his reward will be the same as the reward of someone who has 1,000 dollars and gives 100 dollars in charity on the path of God.
