Ceremony Marks Anniversary of Algeria Quran Radio Establishment

IQNA – A ceremony was held in Algiers to mark the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of Algeria’s Quran Radio.

It included a forum titled “Role of Media in Preserving Society’s Stability”, the radio’s website reported. 

A number of prominent Quran reciters as well as Quran teachers and Quranic sciences experts attended the event.

Also, winners of a competition for children and teenagers were awarded during the ceremony.

The contenders competed in the categories of memorization of the entire Quran and half of the Quran in two age groups of under 12 and under 18.
