“Since the beginning of the Palestinian revolution, numerous Palestinian political and military figures have been assassinated by the Zionists, including the assassination of Hezbollah chief Abbas al-Musawi in 1992; Fathi Shaghaqi, the Secretary General of Islamic Jihad in 1995; and Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, along with many other leaders of the resistance,” Abu Samer Musa told IQNA.
“Did these assassinations yield positive results for this regime, or was their logic flawed?” he asked.
The statements come as the Israeli regime assassinated Ismail Haniyeh on Wednesday, as the Hamas chief was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

“Even if Zionists consider it an achievement and victory, both old and new information indicates that the goals of the terror attacks have failed,” Musa stressed.
In reality, these assassinations provide “new motivation” for the resistance to continue the path of the martyrs, he said, adding, “After every terror operation, we witness the growth and progress of resistance movements.”
“The terror operations do not achieve their goals but instead deepen the crisis for this regime, as we believe that every Mujahid is a martyr, and our martyrdom in this path is an honor bestowed on us by Almighty God,” he said.
Tehran has pledged to respond to the Israeli assassination.
