Ruhollah Motefaker Azad made the remark in an address to the participants in the final stage of Iran’s 47th National Quran Competition on Sunday evening.
The competition’s men’s section is underway in the northwestern city of Tabriz.
What enabled Iranians to launch a revolution led by Imam Khomeini (RA) to promote Islam and monotheism was the teachings of the Holy Quran, Motefaker Azad stated.
He also said the life of humanity lies in learning the Quran.
He added that organizing this Quranic competition and similar events indicates that the essence of the Islamic Republic of Iran is mixed with the teachings of the Holy Quran.

The representative of the people of Tabriz, Azarshahr and Osku in the parliament went on to say that through elevating the Quranic culture, living a Quran-based and spiritual life is possible.
