Since the start of Iran’s Hajj dispatch operations on May 5, a total of 30,283 pilgrims have entered the kingdom. They have traveled via flights landing in the cities of Medina and Jeddah.
The dispatch process, which began twelve days ago, has so far involved 207 organized groups.
According to the official schedule, over 85,000 Iranian pilgrims are expected to arrive in Mecca by May 31 to begin the rituals of Hajj.
Iran’s medical teams accompanying the pilgrims have reported 7,348 outpatient visits at Iranian-run medical centers. Two individuals required hospitalization for further treatment. No deaths among Iranian pilgrims have been reported to date.
