Speaking Saturday morning during the grand funeral procession of the “Martyrs of Iran’s Power” in Tehran, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohseni Ejei highlighted the message embedded within the massive public gathering to bid farewell to the martyrs.
“Our people, through their passionate and conscious presence in this majestic funeral procession for martyrs, have proven once again that they are Husseini [followers of Imam Hussein],” he said.
“The martyrdom of their commanders, scientists, compatriots, and loved ones does not deter them from achieving their sacred goal—rather, such events only accelerate their resolve to reach it.”
The Judiciary Chief added, “Our people have demonstrated yet again that, following the example of their martyred Imam, Aba Abdillah al-Hussein (AS), they will never accept humiliation nor trade their dignity for anything.”
He further emphasized that “without a doubt, the victor in this arena is the great nation of Iran. As history has shown, the criminals will be erased—the fate of the criminal America and the vile, wretched Zionist regime is nothing but annihilation and collapse.”

He went on to say, “In recent events, our people have proven that they possess a heroic spirit, are full of honor and patriotism, and are deeply faithful with unshakable self-respect. A nation with such qualities is certain to emerge victorious.”
Referring to the recent parliamentary bill suspending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) due to its violations of established norms, the Judiciary Chief said, “When the IAEA collaborates with the enemies of the Iranian people and shares sensitive information about our nuclear facilities with them, it should not expect Iran to welcome it with open arms. The peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities and their compliance with international laws have been acknowledged by the IAEA itself. However, the agency’s officials have acted contrary to Iran’s cooperative approach. Thus, it is only natural that we no longer engage with this institution as before and have suspended our interactive policy.”
Tehran awoke to a moving scene as thousands of mourners gathered for the funeral of “Martyrs of Iran’s Power” on Saturday.
Tehraners, inspired by the spirit of Imam Hussein (AS) and carrying red flags bearing the phrase “Labbayk Ya Hussein”, held handwritten banners with anti-Israel and anti-US slogans. Shouts of “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” resonated amid the crowd.
Many senior officials, including the heads of the three branches of power took part in the funeral.
Families, including many children and teenagers, joined the procession—symbolizing the passing of values like self-sacrifice, courage, and resistance to the next generation.

The aggression resulted in martyrdom of 628 Iranians and left more than 4,800 others wounded.
The Iranian armed forces, in response, pounded the regime and its military and industrial infrastructure, using new-generation missiles that hit the designated targets with precision.
After 12 days, the Tel Aviv regime was forced to declare a unilateral ceasefire in a deal proposed by Washington to prevent further blows from Iranian missiles.
