IQNA – Internationally-acclaimed Iranian qari Hamid Reza Ahmadi praised the Amir al-Qurra Plan in Iraq.

The plan is implemented by the Quranic Programs Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine. 

Ahmadi, accompanied by Muhammad Riza al-Zubaidi, who is in charge of the Amir al-Qurra Plan, visited the center at the holy shrine and learned about different aspects of the plan.

The Amir al-Qurra (king of Quran reciters) is a Quranic plan that includes courses in various Quranic fields held under the supervision of Quran masters and experts.

Identifying Iraqi Quranic talents and training them in the field of Quran recitation are among the objectives of the plan.

Ahmadi said the plan contributes to training a generation of great Quran reciters who will shine at the international level.
