“Your unity and presence were the greatest response to the child-killing Zionist enemy,” Ghalibaf said in a message, which is as follows:

“Honorable, dignified and proud people of Iran!

Today, history has once again turned its page on the streets of this land. With the steps you took from the heart of zeal and faith, you carried the pure bodies of the martyred children of this land and showed that Iran is still the homeland of great people.

I bow down to the glory of your presence at the farewell ceremony for the glorious commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps - from martyr Saeed Izadi and martyr Gholamreza Mehrabi to martyrs Hajizadeh, Rabbani, Shadmani, Shahriari, Rashid, Kazemi, Bagheri, and Salami - who sacrificed their lives against the Zionist aggression.

Alongside these dear ones, prominent and unique scholars such as Dr. Fereydoun Abbasi Davani, Dr. Tehranchi, Dr. Minouchehr, Dr. Zolfaghari, Dr. Fiqhi, Dr. Motalebizadeh, Dr. Asgari, Dr. Hashemitabar, Dr. Soleimani, Dr. Bakuei, Dr. Borji Kazerouni, Dr. Sadati, and Dr. Seddighi Saber also joined the heavens and added another golden leaf to the proud book of this nation.

You, the people, today carried not only the bodies, but also the flag of Iran's honor, and once again made it clear that "Labbaik ya Khamenei" means Labbaik ya Hussein," and showed that you are grateful for the intelligent and courageous leadership of the divine leader of the revolution, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei.

On behalf of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament), I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you, the noble nation of Iran, for all your loyalty, faith, steadfastness, and greatness.

In these critical days, your unity and presence were the greatest response to the child-killing Zionist enemy. Today, the world saw that Iran stood united; even those who may have differences of opinion with us, stood side by side in defending Iran and the blood of the martyrs.

Let us make a covenant with the martyrs: to continue their path, to build a strong, independent, dignified, and powerful Iran. And let us make a covenant not to let the blood of these loved ones remain on the ground.

Wa Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh”

Tehran awoke to a moving scene as thousands of mourners gathered for the funeral of “Martyrs of Iran’s Power” on Saturday.

Tehraners, inspired by the spirit of Imam Hussein (AS) and carrying red flags bearing the phrase “Labbayk Ya Hussein”, held handwritten banners with anti-Israel and anti-US slogans. Shouts of “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” resonated amid the crowd.

Many senior officials, including the heads of the three branches of power took part in the funeral.

Families, including many children and teenagers, joined the procession—symbolizing the passing of values like self-sacrifice, courage, and resistance to the next generation.

The Israeli regime launched an all-out aggression on Iranian soil on June 13, targeting various military and nuclear sites, and assassinating many top-ranking military commanders and nuclear scientists as well as ordinary civilians. The aggression resulted in martyrdom of 628 Iranians and left more than 4,800 others wounded.

The Iranian armed forces, in response, pounded the regime and its military and industrial infrastructure, using new-generation missiles that hit the designated targets with precision.

After 12 days, the Tel Aviv regime was forced to declare a unilateral ceasefire in a deal proposed by Washington to prevent further blows from Iranian missiles.
